2010 is not only the beginning of new decade but also new opportunities for students.  As the current economic climate improves, most of the scholarship funds will flourish.   Students will have more and more scholarship opportunities.  Therefore, students are encouraged to Apply for 2010 scholarships today.  Below are some tips on finding a scholarship in 2010.

• Research and thoroughly understand the scholarship application requirements.
• As your financial aid adviser, community members and employers to guide you.
• Apply at as many places as possible.   Even if you are unsure you should go ahead with the application.  A scholarship judge may find something unique in your scholarship application which may make you stand out.  
• Prepare well of any in person interviews or essay contests.  
• Don't ignore a scholarship just because the award amount is too small.  Every little bit helps.
