James Graham Brown Scholarship

University of Louisville Brown Fellows Scholarship

The University of Louisville offers a premier scholarship and educational enrichment
program for high-achieving students established by the James
Graham Brown Foundation. Ten Kentucky and Indiana students can attend UofL on
“full-ride-plus” scholarships that cover the cost of tuition, room and
board as well as funding four summer enrichment programs. The recipients are placed in the top 2 percent nationally on
the ACT college admission test, and all are engaged in leadership and
personal development activities. The recipients are chosen following
an extensive recruitment and evaluation process that includes daylong
interviews with university and Brown Foundation representatives. The students themselves design their summer
enrichment experiences around themes of service, research,
