A-Rod Substance Abuse

What has happened to America's Role Models

First Phelps now A-Rod.   These two athletes are supposed to be the role modles for younger kids.  But one after another scandals around them are coming.  Some outright illegal, other totally unethical.  I am sure you all have learned that A-Rod has admitted substance abuse for several years to increase his performance in the baseball field.  Alex Rodriguez is the second player after Barry Bond who has admitted substance abuse.  Now he is saying, "he was stupid".  Sure Alex, you were. Stupid enough to make millions of dollars while fooling every baseball fan that you are one of the best hitter out there.  

Question for us the baseball fans:  Are we responsible for creating an environment for guys like A-Rod and Phelps so that they can abuse their celebrity status?
