Baseball Scholarships

College Baseball Scholarship

Baseball is one of the most popular sports in the US. There are close to 2000 baseball programs nationwide and they are growing at a rapid pace. There is an abundance of college scholarships for great baseball players not only from the colleges and Universities but also from local leagues and clubs. Most of these scholarships put emphasis on academics, character and ability to swing the bat or throw a pitch. Most of the top players can qualify for a full scholarship. Nevertheless, you don't have to be a top notch hitter or a pitcher to earn a partial baseball scholarship.

List of Baseball Scholarships

Baseball players can qualify for NCAA, NJCAA and NAIA from DIV I, DIV II and DIV III colleges. While NCAA offers close to 1,000 scholarships, NAIA and NJCAA offer several thousand colleges to students attending participating universities and community colleges. There are several private for profit and non-profit organizations who offer baseball scholarships to promote the sport and help students get their education while playing the sport. If for some reason you cannot get a baseball scholarship at a 4 year college or university, junior college baseball scholarships are also a viable option.
