Discover private education loan can help students supplement their other sources of financial aid,
giving them the flexibility to cover up to 100% of their college expenses.
Their private education loans come with zero up-front fees and a 2% Graduation
Reward. Students won’t have to make any payments while they are enrolled
in school at least half-time.

Eligibility Criteria

• Student must be a U.S. citizen or a permanent resident
• Student must be enrolled at least half-time in a 4 or 5 year undergraduate degree program.
• Student  must have a cosigner (most likely a parent or a guardian).
• Student  and their cosigner must have good a credit to qualify for low rates.

Things to Do Before Applying

• Student shall speak to a parent or a guardian to discuss loan options and convince them to co-sign.
• Student shall work with a financial aid adviser to determine the amount they want to borrow
• Student shall find two additional references who know student. 
• Student shall have their Social Security number, driver’s license, cosigner information ready before filling out the application.
