Mark Coppage Scholarship for Nursing Students

This scholarship is created for Nursing Students attending the Nursing College at Unviersity of West Georgia in the memory of Mark Coppage, M.D. who died on March 3, 1989 in an automobile accident in Florida.  An anonymous donor established the Dr. Mark Coppage Nursing Scholarship Fund to sustain his memory and the remarkable principles for which he stood. Since this scholarship was established in 1993, 50 scholarships have been given, totaling over $100,000. This scholarship is open to individuals who represent some of the outstanding human qualities for which Dr. Mark Coppage was so well known.
