With an average American working more and more, the work related stress is increasing exponentially.  More and more Americans are seeking help from massage therapists to relieve that stress.  Even some large corporations are adding on-site massage therapist as one of the benefits for their employees.  There are some scholarships for massage therapy students.

The Spa Foundation Scholarship

The Spa Foundation wants to inspire students, support students and make sure that their future is successful.  The scholarship program requires a strong commitment from stduents.  Students must be serious about their career goals and are 100% devoted to an amazing life and career change. 

Massage Therapy Foundation Grants

The Massage Therapy Foundation currently has two granting categories: research and community service. Proposals are reviewed in each category once per year. They are reviewed by a specially selected and impartial panel of reviewers. Students can get more than $1000 per grant.

Massage Therapy School Scholarships

Several community, technical and private massage therapy schools have scholarships for students.  You should inquire with your local massage therapy school to see what scholarships are available to you.
