Rodeo Houston Scholarship

The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo's educational program offers a college scholarship to 1,934 students attending 88 different Texas colleges and universities.All recipients of Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo scholarships must demonstrate academic potential, citizenship/leadership and financial need, and they must attend a Texas college or university.

National Intercollegiate Rodeo Foundation Scholarship

NIRA offers $1000 dollars scholarships and managed several scholarships offered by other organizations. The best known scholarship program within the NIRA is the U.S. Smokeless Tobacco Co. Scholarship Awards Program. Each year they award over $200,000 in scholarships. The scholarships are awarded to the event champions throughout the different regions, and at the College National Finals Rodeo to the top five national championship men's teams, top five national championship women's teams, national all-around champions, and national event champions. The top three cowboys and cowgirls in attendance with the highest grade point average are awarded scholarships as well.

National Little Britches Rodeo Association Scholarships

NLBRA offers three different scholarships with thousands of dollars as the award money. Most of the scholarships are need based for academically gifted students. These scolarships are known as:
1. Wrangler Academic Scholarship
2. Rainwater Memorial Scholarship
3. Heel-o-Matic Scholarships

Colleges and Universities with Rodeo Scholarships
