YUWO Scholarships for Continuing Education

The YUWO scholarships are for women of the Yale Community who wish to resume studies, after an interruption or delay.  This interruption or delay could be due to any reason such as financial difficulty, sickness, family related issues etc.  The scholarship office cna provide you more information on that. 

These scholarships are primarily supported by funds from:

The Annual Scholarship Fund

This fund is receives contributions from members and friends of the Yale community.

The Scholarship Trust Fund

The Scholarship Trust Fund distributes any interests earned on its contributions to the scholarship receipients.

The Magee Fenn Scholarship Fund

A Magee Fenn Scholarship is awarded each year from the fund that was established to honor of Magee Fenn, first chair of YUWO’s Scholarship Program. Yale community gives contributions to this new memorial fund.

The Gustave and Carol Lynn Sirot Fund

This fund gives schoarships to women who are 35 years of age or older.

Who is Eligible

Members of the Yale community and their direct family members are eligible for the awards. YUWO members and family are not eligible.
