Toyota Motors the leading Japanese automaker is committed to offer financial support to students in the USA.   They have a variety of scholarship programs which are focused on the minority and disadvantaged students.  Below is the discussion of some of their programs:

Toyota
Community Scholars (TCS)

Managed by the Educational Testing Services (ETS), Toyota Community Scholars program awards 100 college scholarships  in the amount up to $20,000 to
remarkable high school seniors for their community service and academic excellence.

Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation (MCSF)

Children of Marines and those who have lost a parent in
action qualify for one of the several MSCF scholarships worth $5,000
to students every year in each of Toyota's 12 regions and 4 Lexus regions across the United
States.

Association of Independent Kentucky Colleges and Universities

Toyota supports a Toyota Scholar on each of the 20 independent college and university campuses across the state of Kentuckywho can demonstrate academic excellence and community service.

Youth for Understanding Scholarship

In 1975,
Toyota awards scholarships that help enable students to become part of YFU as non-profit student exchange organization and spend the summer with a
host family in order to learn about their culture through total
immersion.

National FFA Scholarship

The National FFA Organization helps students develop potential for premier
leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural
education. Toyota works with National FFA to provide ten scholarships a year in select states
