Golf Caddy Scholarships
Job of a golf caddy is a thankless one. They have to carry heavy loads for several hours on a golf course and even end up doing odd chores. Yet, a lot of students decide to become golf caddies because it gives them an opportunity to build their contacts and learn from some of the highly successful individuals. While, some students may even get laughed at for being a golf caddy, end of the day they turn out to be winners not only socially but also financially by winning a scholarship and going to college.
Chick Evans Caddie Scholarships
Evans Scholars Foundation grants more than 840 scholarships each year to students who have caddied, successfully and regularly, for a minimum of two years and also expected to caddie and/or work at their sponsoring club during the summer when they apply for the scholarship. Student must have completed their junior year of high school with above a B average in college preparatory courses and are required to take the ACT. They must demonstrate financial need, outstanding character, integrity and leadership.
